Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Winston-Salem is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Winston-Salem follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Food is NOT good. I ordered spring rolls, the lettuce mustβve been old, tasted like plastic. The pho left me feeling sick and had an odd smell as if the meat wasnt clean or something. The bathrooms were quite dirty and unkept. The waitress with glasses has an unwelcoming attitude and doesnβt provide good service. For the price, it is definitely not worth it. Also the water has to be from the sink.

The quality of the sashimi at Pho & Sushi was fairly average, although I did like the presentation. Food: 3/5 The menu was long and confusing, though I did manage to settle on the sashimi "love boat" with salmon, yellowtail, and tuna. It was served over a bed of shaved carrot, and interestingly, a bed of ice cubes underneath. It was served in a fancy boat-shaped ceramic bowl, and the pickled ginger and piped imitation wasabi paste at the bow of the boat was a nice touch. The salmon and tuna tasted decent, but the yellowtail was a lot tougher than the buttery kind I'm used to getting. Overall the fish did not taste of the freshest or highest quality. Value: 2.5/5 At $2 per piece of sahimi, the value was quite poor compared to other sushi restaurants I've tried with better quality sashimi. A la carte, their sashimi was even more. Service: 3/5 Decently attentive, although the server seemed a little distracted and we had to get his attention to pick up the check. He also wasn't too familiar with the menu and had to ask the chef what came in the sashimi samplers. Wait: 4/5 Not too long of a wait, though not super speedy either. Atmosphere: 3/5 Fairly basic, dark interior with a sus

Food was horrible. Soy sauce on the table tasted weird and off. Cucumber in sushi wasn't peeled leaving it with a dirty taste. We got noodle bowls, every other Vietnamese restaurant we have ever gotten them from the noddles were not hot, it was a cooler more room temp dish - these noodles were hot and the nuac chom grosse super strong on soy sauce and too spicy.

My family was out of town about an hour away. Everyone got hungry so we have Google for Pho restaurants near by. This restaurant pop up. Great it a plus for me they have both of what each of us want to eat. I order PH1 special bowl of Pho. My daughters order sushi. My bowl of pho was delicious, the pho broth was perfect all the seasoning was there. I didn't need to add any extar flavor only the herbs that come with it. My daughters was kind of disappointed in the sushi. All the flavor wasn't there for some reason. *My only issue was not much lighting, the lighting very low not bright and happy. It feel more like entering into a bar or club. P.S. my daughters are sushi lover they eat out in most of the sushi restaurant in and around town.

Went a little out of my comfort zone for this one but certainly wasn't disappointed. This restaurant seems much less crowded then others at the same time, but provides great food and friendly service for a competive price. I had the shrimp fried rice and it was delicious. My wife had the pho and she also thoroughly enjoyed it. Humble looking interior. Nothing fancy, but it doesn't have to be when the food is good. Great experience.
